When government funding ends, our community steps in.
Power in Motion for Autism is a profit-sharing fundraiser. Families whose children are facing a reduction in Ontario Autism Program funding or are aging out of the program, join together for one big event and share in what it raises.

An '80s-themed Party Fundraiser in Vaughan
Power in Motion for Autism is raising funds through a big, eighties-themed party at The Venetian Banquet Center in Vaughan, Ontario. Families sell tickets to friends and relatives, and every sale helps grow their share of the event's profit.
On November 1, the official website goes live with the event date, full schedule, ticket pricing, sponsor information, and personal seller links so your community can purchase tickets for the party.

Family registration stage
This page is open early so families can register before the main launch. Registering lets a committee member confirm eligibility with you privately and ensures your family is considered in the committee's first round of selections. Because we are starting with a limited number of families, registering does not guarantee participation.
- Free to register. There is no payment whatsoever for families registering their child
- Committee follow-up to confirm details one-on-one
- Considered in the first round of selections
Coming November 1

Register your familyHow the profit-sharing works
It's simple: everyone raises together, and every family shares in the result based on what they helped bring in.
Families register and are selected
Families sign up, and the committee selects an initial group based on need. Selected families receive their own personal ticket link and seller code.
Everyone sells tickets
Families invite friends, relatives, and their community to buy tickets to the event using their personal link.
Profit is shared
After the event's costs are covered, the remaining profit is split among families, in proportion to the tickets each one helped sell.
How the profit pool works
See how each family's share changes based on the tickets they help sell.

Register your family
It's free and takes a few minutes.
Registering is the first step, not a guarantee of participation
To make sure every participating family can raise a meaningful amount, we are starting with a limited number of families. The event has room for 500 guests. If those tickets were spread across too many families, each family's share of the profit would be small.
After registration, the organizing committee will review every registration and select an initial group of families, giving priority to those with the greatest need for bridge funding. The committee looks at factors such as how soon your child's government funding ends or has ended, the size of the funding gap your family faces, and your family's overall circumstances.
Families who are not selected in the first round remain on our list and may be invited to take part later if we open participation to more families.
Registering early helps.
It makes sure your family is considered when the committee makes its first selections. We will contact every registered family to let you know the outcome.
Selection decisions are made using the same criteria for every family. We do not consider race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, or any other ground protected under the Ontario Human Rights Code.
